Job Summary

We are seeking a Case Manager to join our Transformative Initiatives team. The successful candidate will provide outreach, workshop facilitation, and resource coordination services to individuals who cause harm in their intimate relationships. This is a full-time position based in the Bronx, with expected travel throughout the five boroughs.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain thriving relationships with community partners and attend community meetings and events
  • Conduct regular community outreach, canvassing, and participating in community events to promote the program
  • Facilitate workshops based on RISE curriculum with participants
  • Provide direct service for RISE participants, including individualized case management and counseling
  • Work with participants to develop and implement action plans based on their goals and specific service needs
  • Conduct outreach, engagement, and program enrollment
  • Create engagement and aftercare plans for all participants
  • Identify and engage client's support system if needed and provide referrals related to health, school, employment, housing, food security, as needed
  • Provide voluntary referrals to community-based services and maintain communication with service providers to ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Document services and contacts on database and other internal data trackers, as well as additional specific documentation in a timely manner
  • Submit regular monthly reports to the Program Manager to capture pertinent program data
  • Provide coverage and support for other RISE programming as needed
  • Travel throughout the five boroughs to support RISE programming
  • Attend and support at the RISE team event, which may take place on weekends and evenings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in a social service setting
  • Experience with transformative justice frameworks, individual case management, group facilitation, and community-based violence prevention preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a position directly related to intimate partner violence, community violence, and/or a related field
  • Experience in resource coordination and community engagement
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred
What We Offer

The Center for Justice Innovation offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 - $63,500, commensurate with experience. We also offer an excellent benefits package, including comprehensive healthcare, free basic dental coverage, vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and flexible spending accounts. We prioritize mental health care for our staff and offer services like Talkspace and Ginger through our healthcare plans. We offer a 403(b) retirement plan with a two-to-one employer contribution up to 5%.
