Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position involves working on production code, designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced algorithms for the processing and analysis of electrophysiological data.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of robust algorithms for biomarker identification using electrophysiological data.
  • Maintain and improve a DSP data processing pipeline to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms to generate meaningful measures and data pipelines to analyze and gain insight into electrophysiological data.
  • Write industrial-strength code with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, researchers, and software engineers, to integrate new features and improvements.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for developed algorithms and processes.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in DSP, bioinformatics, and physiological signal processing, and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
  • Minimally a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in DSP, with a focus on electrophysiological data.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
  • Strong understanding of digital signal processing techniques and algorithms.
  • Experience with bioinformatics and/or physiological signal processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
