About the Role

Are you a skilled Ultrasound Technologist looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? We have an exciting opening for a PRN Ultrasound Technologist at Parkland Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the region.

Job Summary

As a PRN Ultrasound Sonographer, you will be responsible for preparing patients, collecting relevant information, and performing sonographic exams following defined protocols. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.

  • Compile accurate records to expedite results.
  • Analyze the quality of images and processes as required.
  • Complete data sheets containing pertinent patient information following exams prior to forwarding to radiologists.
  • Take call after regular hours to meet department needs.

Requirements

  • Two to three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two-plus years of experience in a hospital.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registered.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
