About the Role:

CaptiveAire Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining total quality for all products and processes within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain various platforms and initiatives to ensure safety, quality, and productivity of production.
  • Cover multiple product lines as defined by the Quality Manager.
  • Work with the Quality Manager to develop and implement QA/QC procedures for all product lines.
  • Perform administrative quality control inspections on specialty products.
  • Assist quality engineers with quality-related questions.
  • Ensure QA procedures are maintained by all operators.
  • Perform final QC inspections on an as-needed basis.
  • Work with Plant Process & Industrial engineers on implementing ECNs and PCIs into assembly processes.
  • Work with R&D and Regions on process-related issues.
  • Ensure products are being packaged and shipped correctly.
  • Implement DRs and SNCRs on the plant floor and communicate to appropriate personnel.
  • Support third-party agency plant audits.
  • Support production as needed.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality.
  • 4-year technical degree in a mathematical, mechanical, or electrical-oriented curriculum.
  • Must be a leader, helping team members grow their skills and enhance their product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Meticulous with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Multi-tasking and problem-solving a must.
