Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Clinical Care Team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-visit planning and manage provider schedules to ensure efficient workflow
  • Obtain and record medical history and vital signs, and room patients for medical procedures and treatments
  • Collect and process specimens, and perform point-of-care testing as needed
  • Prepare and administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
  • Ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records and maintain established quality control standards
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant diploma or certificate of completion from a recognized program
  • Current CPR certification and hands-on experience in phlebotomy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with HEDIS and ICD/CPT coding, electronic medical records, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
