Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and imaginative individual to engage and motivate school-aged children. The focus will be on facilitating learning through play, assisting with academic tasks, and fostering an environment conducive to their success. The target age group is between four and twelve years old.
Working Hours
Availability is required from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additionally, the candidate should be prepared to work from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during school breaks throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nutritious snacks and maintain a tidy and organized classroom environment.
- Assist children with their homework and academic projects.
- Organize and lead both indoor and outdoor activities.
- Oversee all activities to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Exhibit reliability and uphold a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years old and possess a high school diploma. A comprehensive background check is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency, are preferred. High energy levels and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents to promote a supportive team atmosphere are essential.
