About the Role

Gensteel Doors USA LLC is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Support Specialist to join our team in Madison, GA.

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.

This is a full-time opportunity with a standard schedule of Monday-Thursday 6:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

As a Manufacturing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to machine operators and production staff in the fabrication and production of commercial steel doors and frames.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining production equipment and facilities.
  • Assisting machine operators with tasks such as tending to manual or automated equipment and ensuring consumable parts and associated items are available for continued production flow.
  • Following production procedures and performing tasks as described by organizational instructions.

You will also be responsible for preparing insulated/cardboard "cores" for door fabrication, consumable parts, and other associated parts needed by the machine operator to maintain and ensure constant production flow.

In addition, you will assist in door assembly operations, hang, drop, and palletize door and frame components at the operational paint line, and identify, palletize, and finish pack completed doors, frames, and components as directed by the supervisor.

Physical requirements for this role include lifting up to 60 pounds for periods of time throughout a given shift, bending, stretching, pushing, carrying heavy objects, and standing/sitting in certain areas or positions for long periods of time.
