Stylist Overview

As a Sales Associate at Lane Bryant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales experiences to our clients. You will be expected to:

  • Embody our inclusive culture and demonstrate Lane Selling behaviors to provide outstanding client experiences.
  • Contribute to the achievement of company goals, including financial objectives, client experience, operational controls, asset protection, safety, and merchandise presentation.

  • Support and execute floor-sets; maintain visual brand standards.
  • Ensure opening and closing checklist tasks are completed daily.
  • Support Asset Protection efforts to prevent shrink and ensure safety.
  • Report to work as scheduled; record all time worked accurately by using our time and attendance system; remain flexible to the needs of the business.
  • All other duties as assigned by Store, District, or Regional Leaders.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with strong communication and customer service skills, as well as:

  • Specialty selling/retail experience preferred.
  • Technology proficiency.
  • A flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate in English; other languages desirable.
Physical Demands

The position requires:

  • Constant movement throughout the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, complete floor sets, unpack and replenish stock, and complete other tasks.
  • Frequent operation of a computerized register system.
  • Adjusting or moving objects (garment racks, mannequins, etc.) or merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions on a frequent basis.
  • Occasional adjustment or movement of objects or merchandise weighing as much as 50 pounds in all directions with assistance as available.
  • Retrieving merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level on a frequent basis, which may include climbing an 8-foot ladder.
  • Constant interaction with and assistance of coworkers and clients and other members of the public.
