Job Summary:

Lockton, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Intern to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals to solve real-world business challenges. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, preparing reports and presentations, and interacting with internal clients. You will also participate in training and personal development sessions, and present to internal clients and other Lockton Associates.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and prepare reports and presentations on various security topics
  • Interact with internal clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Participate in training and personal development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Present to internal clients and other Lockton Associates on various security topics
  • Collaborate with the team on day-to-day responsibilities and requests

Requirements:

  • Student studying Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Student entering junior or senior year
  • Able to commit to working the nine-week internship in Kansas City
  • Proven success in academics and extracurricular activities, especially in leadership positions
  • Minimum 3.3 GPA (potential to substitute experience in lieu of GPA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
  • Legally able to work in the United States
