Job Description

Maxis Clinical Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Scientist II to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for executing lab work at a high level for new therapeutic modalities, including peptides, oligonucleotides, virus, antibodies, and non-viral delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute non-routine experiments with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to lab organization, reagent tracking, and other tasks as determined appropriate.
  • Independently present scientific findings in project team or Department meetings.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams/initiatives.
  • Independently write protocols, SOPs, technical reports in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree with 3+ years experience in a related field or Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience in a related field.
  • Experience with wet chemistry preparation methods, chromatography methods, and biophysical testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • NMR spectroscopy analysis.
  • Sub-micron particle sizing methodologies.
  • Fluorescent labelling, microscopy, and/or image analysis.
