About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee multiple facilities construction projects, ranging in size from $50k to $3 Million. These projects will include labs, tenant improvements, cleanroom manufacturing, and general facilities infrastructure at a semiconductor tool manufacturer site. The successful candidate will act as an Owner-Authorized Representative at our Tualatin, OR semiconductor manufacturing location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the successful completion of facilities construction projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage relevant stakeholders, set deadlines, communicate with project owners/company executives about the project's status, and ensure projects stay on track and on budget.
  • Develop a baseline Project Charter for individual projects, including defining business requirements, project deliverables, need dates, and stakeholder lists.
  • Develop Risk Assessments and design scopes of work.
  • Consult job walks and bid clarifications, prepare bid comparisons, and conduct bid clarifications.
  • Prepare contract documentation for procurement review and manage design services contractors.
  • Liaison with the City of Tualatin as required and work with client project owners to establish capital budgets.
  • Develop high-level design and construction schedules, issue capital authorization requests, and review invoicing for payments.
  • Monitor and update quarterly cash flows, coordinate project construction, and review GMP submissions with general contractors.
  • Address third-party small contracts required to support work, provide owner representation, and proactively manage change orders.
  • Review monthly invoices for approval and ensure contractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience working in design or construction of projects, with a preference for labs, semiconductor, and/or critical facility construction.
  • Proficient use of MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • History of strong client relations and people management skills.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
