Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Radiology/Cardiology at a hospital in Charlotte, NC.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be proficient in EPIC and Visage systems.

Responsibilities:
  • No weekend RTO for this position; RTO after booking is NOT allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
  • Work in a very fast-paced emergency department environment with Siemens scanner, routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and level 2 trauma patients.
  • Typical caseload is scans daily across 4 rooms.
  • On first shift, typically 45 techs are present; after 5 PM on second shift, 23 techs; third shift has 1 tech; weekends have 2 techs.
  • Special procedures include scans of the abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction.
  • Orientations involve 8 hours of non-billable modules, which must be completed pre-start and annually.
  • Requires proficiency in EPIC and Visage systems.
  • Scrubs: Royal Blue.
  • Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on skill sets and census needs.
  • Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays if applicable.
  • Interview availability must be provided for the next 72 hours during submission to expedite the approval process.
