Radiology CT Technologist

Certification Details
- BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications are required for this position.
- Preferred skills include Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, and Visage.
Job Details
- This position is in the Radiology / Cardiology department.
- General patient diagnoses include Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
- Special procedures / unit details include working in the emergency department on a Siemens scanner for routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and level 2 trauma patients.
- A fast-paced environment is expected.
- The daily workload involves a typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift ranging from 8-12 patients.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
- Willingness to accept 1st time travelers is a plus.
- Local candidates are accepted.
- Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU experience is required.
- GE & Siemens Scanner use is a must.
- CT Procedure Experience is required with various procedures listed.
Schedule Information
- 36 Hours can be offered.
- 12-hour mids on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 09:45 to 22:15.
- The weekend schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- No weekend RTO for this position.
Unit Specific Information
- Ratios: Daily Caseload is between 150-200 Scans across 4 rooms.
- SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Emergency department on a Siemens scanner for routine ED patients.
- Unit systems include EPIC and Visage.
- Required scrubs color is Royal Blue.
Additional Details
- Interview availability is required - Manager will not offer without speaking to the candidate first.
- No mention of additional RTO after booking.
