Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient RDN to join our team at Adventist Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nutrition counseling services to outpatients and clients served.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor outpatient nutrition counseling services, including nutrition assessment and screening, development of nutrition and diet plans, and counseling.
  • Complete progress notes and serve as a liaison to provide documentation in medical records to client's personal physicians.
  • Perform nutrition assessment, reassessment, and patient/family education, ensuring that the needs of patients are addressed.
  • Conduct and coordinate outpatient nutritional counseling sessions and services, following ADA Medical Nutrition Therapy and other appropriate nutrition counseling protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent required.
  • Master's Degree required if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24.
  • Experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
  • Dietetic internship or its equivalent required.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) within 6 months of completion of residency program required.
