Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential functions of this position. This list is not exhaustive, as all responsibilities are subject to change based on the needs of our clients, students, and policies:
  • Implement instructional programs and lessons in various educational settings as outlined in lesson plans.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students to execute specific educational programs.
  • Monitor behavior management programs and reward systems for students.
  • Collect data for assessment and monitoring purposes.
  • Utilize Nonviolent Crisis Intervention techniques for behavior management when necessary.
  • Assist students with reading, recitation, and other curriculum-related tasks.
  • Support students in the classroom environment.
  • Facilitate individual student activities as directed by teachers.
  • Tutor students in various subjects.
  • Work with both individual students and small groups.
  • Handle confidential information regarding special education students.
  • Assist with tasks such as meal preparation and lunch clean-up.
  • Help resolve student disciplinary matters.
  • Coordinate assignment completion with classroom teachers and/or employers.
  • Supervise students during recess, hall duty, passing periods, and bus loading.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR from recognized organizations.
