About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team at Beacon Street USA. As a key member of our Media Production Team, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content that showcases our company's expertise and vision.

Responsibilities
  • Concept to Completion: Manage video projects from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Style and Versatility: Edit video content in a range of styles, from short-form social media clips to long-form branded storytelling and educational webinars.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder, to edit video content, webinars, and promotional videos at an expert level.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal and external marketing teams to understand project scope, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth production.
  • Administrative Support: Handle administrative responsibilities associated with projects, including organization of file information, video assets, and audio and video archives.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with members of the Video Team and internal staff to identify video solutions that achieve business objectives.
  • Research and Development: Find stock videos and create Microsoft PowerPoint text slides to enhance webinars, promotional videos, and video sales letters.
  • Visual Storytelling: Expertly marry visuals, audio, and graphics to create compelling video storytelling, including motion graphics as needed.
  • Color Correction and On-Set Support: Color correct footage as needed and provide on-set support, including setup, teleprompter, and shooting as needed.
  • Concept, Direct, and Shoot: Concept, direct, and shoot using in-house equipment; assist with script development; capture new footage and apply effects; assemble and edit materials, including graphics, photography, dialogue, existing footage, and sound effects if needed.
  • Lighting and Camera Work: Assist with lighting and camera work for filming in office and in-studio settings.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Film, Television, Electronic Media, or equivalent experience. 4-8 years of professional experience as a Video Editor, with videographer experience a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of Adobe Premiere, proficiency with entire Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Photoshop. Significant video editing experience, preferably long-form, short-form, broadcast, and native social media content.
  • Audio and Video Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of audio mixing, with music, narration, and natural sound. In-depth knowledge of video production gear, including video cameras, lights, audio gear, and drone.
  • Project Management and Organization: Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, organize time, and identify resources for projects.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable using Mac operating system.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Up-to-date on current editing trends, both creative and technical, to help ensure we remain competitive within the industry.
