Data Security Specialist
Position Overview:
A data security specialist is needed to join our team at IDR, Inc. in Austin, TX. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for performing queries and generating reports about fraud trends using security and fraud analysis tools. Your expertise in risk management frameworks and security monitoring tools will be crucial in identifying and mitigating potential threats to our systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform fraud risk analysis and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Characterize and analyze network traffic to identify anomalous activity and potential threats.
  • Collect, process, preserve, and analyze digital-related evidence to support fraud investigations.
  • Assess and monitor fraud events related to system implementation and testing practices.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, fraud analysis, or related field.
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and security monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
