Eligibility Criteria:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a virtualized system environment.
  • Responsibilities may include User Administration, System Administration, Documentation, and full SDLC support.
  • Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to provide vendor application support.
  • Develop and support Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that establish policies and standards for the maintenance of customer systems and resources.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call schedules with fixed shifts and potential weekend support.
  • Operate and maintain all Production, Pre-Production, and Development systems within a Windows environment.
  • Conduct System Administration tasks including Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, patch management, application support, account management, and monitoring of system resources (CPU, memory, disk, etc.), as well as auditing system logs.
  • Implement and oversee the testing and installation of patches, updates, and additional tools for Enterprise Windows Servers regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security Vulnerability Management (ISVMs) and Intelligence Community Vulnerability Alerts (ICVAs), and provide support for DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Manage Systems Lifecycle processes including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, consolidation, and decommissioning of enterprise hardware and software.
  • Oversee system requirements and derived requirements to ensure compatibility with defined architecture and alignment with customer needs.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows server and client administration (Windows 2016 and/or Windows 2019).
  • Experience in building Windows Servers.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Knowledgeable in the application of STIGs to secure Windows services and applications.
  • Experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
  • Proficient in Backups/Restore, ePO McAfee, VMware 6.0 or higher.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with SQL Server 2016 or higher and Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Experience with Altiris, SharePoint Server, and Double-Take Backup Software.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019.
  • Familiarity with Venafi Certificate Management Systems.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering. Two years of related work experience may substitute for each year of degree-level education. A Master’s degree equates to four years of experience.
Desired Certification: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA), Security+ CE.
