Job Summary

The AutoZone Store Manager Trainee is a critical role in our company's growth and success. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store, including retail/commercial management, supervision, and policy implementation. You will also be responsible for maintaining an engaged, productive store team through strong leadership and demonstrating initiative.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store
* Maintain an engaged, productive store team through strong leadership and demonstrating initiative
* Support the Store Manager in financial management, including managing, analyzing, and reconciling monthly P&L statements
* Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and customer satisfaction

Requirements

* 1-2 years of previous experience as a retail manager or supervisor
* Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including morning, night, and weekend shifts, and to work overtime as needed
* Bilingual preferred, but not required
* Previous automotive experience preferred, but not required
* Previous experience analyzing company financials, including Profit and Loss Statement, preferred, but not required
