Advanced Level Provider - NP PA Hospitalist

GI Alliance is in search of a proficient Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a hospitalist role.

Job Overview:
As an Advanced Level Provider, your primary responsibility will be to deliver patient care support within a hospital or clinical environment under the guidance of a supervising physician. Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Delivering scheduled patient services under physician oversight
  • Performing comprehensive patient histories and physical assessments
  • Requesting relevant laboratory tests based on preliminary diagnoses
  • Offering health and wellness counseling to patients and their families
  • Upholding medical ethics and regulations pertaining to patient care
  • Maintaining licensure with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Engaging in ongoing education and training obligations
  • Adhering to federal and state guidelines
  • Adapting to flexible work schedules as necessary
Qualifications:
PA Requirement: Completion of a Physician Assistant program and licensure by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
NP Requirement: Master’s degree in Nursing, with licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Nursing.
Experience: Preference for candidates with gastrointestinal experience.
