GI Alliance is in search of a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a pivotal hospitalist role.
Position Overview:
As an Advanced Level Provider, your primary responsibility will be to deliver patient care support within a hospital or clinical environment under the guidance of a supervising physician. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Delivering scheduled patient services under physician oversight
- Performing comprehensive patient histories and physical assessments
- Requesting relevant laboratory tests based on preliminary diagnoses
- Offering health and wellness counseling to patients and their families
- Upholding medical ethics and compliance with patient care regulations
- Maintaining licensure with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
- Engaging in ongoing education and training obligations
- Adhering to federal and state healthcare regulations
- Adapting to flexible work schedules as necessary
PA Requirements: Completion of a Physician Assistant program and licensure by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
NP Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing, with licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Nursing.
Experience: Prior experience in gastrointestinal care is preferred.
