We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Monrovia Post Acute. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diets.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe and appealing manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the dietary services team to ensure seamless meal service.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies.
- 1-2 years of experience in a dietary or culinary role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course required.
