Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cook to join our team at Monrovia Post Acute. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met while promoting a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diets.
  • Ensure food is prepared and presented in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Dietary Services Director to review menus and make authorized substitutions as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of dietary experience, preferably in an acute or long-term care environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course required.
