About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Technician to join our team at Apple. As a Metrology Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test and inspection plans for various parts and prototypes
  • Validate and measure prototype parts, communicating results to customers and collecting metrics
  • Research and select metrology tools and equipment to meet the needs of our team
  • Assess and improve issues related to prototype parts, identifying critical components and features
  • Qualify and troubleshoot inspection equipment, including bring-up activities
  • Work with management, team members, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in metrology, quality assurance, or manufacturing engineering
  • Ability to apply and advise on GD&T principles
  • Experience programming and operating various metrology equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-focused and data-driven approach
