Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Metrology Technician to join our team at Apple. In this role, you will work closely with our team of Model Makers and Product Design engineers to develop and implement test and inspection plans for various parts and prototypes. You will also play a key role in researching and selecting metrology tools and equipment to meet the diverse needs of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and measure prototype parts
• Communicate results to customers and collect metrics for colleagues and management
• Research and select metrology tools and equipment
• Work with minimal supervision in a high-paced shop environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to apply and advise on GD&T principles
• Experience programming and operating metrology equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Data-driven and detail-focused
