Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to assume the role of Radiation Protection Supervisor. This position will oversee the Radiation Protection team at our operational facilities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and promoting a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Radiation Protection Technicians, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures related to the radiation protection program.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage team performance effectively.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduled work, project management, and procedural development.
- Review and address audit findings and condition reports to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate various radiation protection projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct training and evaluations for technician certification and maintain necessary qualifications for emergency response.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in health physics or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiation Protection, with at least 2 years in a nuclear power environment.
- Strong understanding of Radiation Protection laws, regulations, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to train and mentor staff.

Special Requirements:
- Candidates must be prepared to participate in an emergency response organization and maintain readiness for unexpected situations.
