Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical assessments, treatments, and clearances for patients, team members, and external customers.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain current certifications and licenses.
  • Float to various clinic locations as needed to support the needs of our patients and team.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing or a physician assistant program.
  • Masters Degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the state of New Jersey.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Certification (APRN) or Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Prepared Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a relevant patient care setting.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills.
