Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen delivery and nebulized medications
  • Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and associated critical care duties
  • Perform arterial punctures to obtain arterial blood samples for blood gas analysis
  • Document all pertinent data on patient medical records
  • Formulate teaching plans based on patient learning needs and evaluate effectiveness
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and disciplines to coordinate patient care
Requirements
  • Montana licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (NBRC)
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Preferred: Certification in Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist (NBRC-NPS) and/or Adult Critical Care Specialist (NBRC-ACCS)
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work varied shifts, including night shifts, and to maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
