Job Description

This role will be responsible for driving quality products throughout the organization by maintaining a corporate culture that emphasizes accountability, discipline, and attention to detail at all levels. You'll work closely with our team to develop and execute commercial-quality processes for the design, test, and manufacture of launch vehicles, spacecraft, and related technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Process Monitoring: Support defect reduction initiatives and provide assistance to other team members in the use of quality procedures and/or tools.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct process health assessments and internal audits for compliance with industry standards and provide ongoing objective evaluations of processes and documentation.
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct follow-up and compliance audits to ensure process improvement and corrective/preventive action implementation and effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Document First Article Inspection Reports for internally produced hardware.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist with standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Block Resolution: Provide block resolution for production work centers.
  • Visual & Dimensional Inspections: Perform Visual & Dimensional Inspections.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' industry experience in an aviation/aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Aerospace, space launch, military, or commercial aviation preferred.
  • Strong GD&T skills.
  • Internal auditing experience.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs.
  • Experience performing visual & dimensional inspections.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in a start-up environment, transitioning a product from development through production to operations.
  • Relevant experience in AS9145, Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process.
  • Quality Management System audit experience.
  • Familiarity with Additive Manufacturing.
  • Quality performance measurement analysis capabilities (SPC).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,240 - $130,536, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
