Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Radar Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Kwajalein Atoll, Roi-Namur. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical/electrical maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance for the ALTAIR radar antenna electro-mechanical systems and structural members is performed per maintenance schedule.
- Oversee maintenance crew to ensure tasks are performed properly i.e. (paint, grease, gear maintenance, oil change, etc.)
- Maintain operational equipment i.e. (electric motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, coax/waveguide components, etc.)
- Maintain shop equipment i.e. (hand tools, sandblaster, compressor, etc.)
- Maintain current spare parts inventory and procure parts as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance performed.
- Assist with operations, maintenance, repair, and modification of radar components.
- Comply with all applicable procedures for storing and disposing of hazardous waste.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to safely climb to heights up to 100 ft. to perform and oversee maintenance activities.
- Ability to effectively perform maintenance, repairs, and replacement of complex mechanical systems; gear boxes, pumps, motors, bearings, and coax/waveguide components.
- Ability to effectively use standard mechanical tools.
- General computer literacy using Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead and document daily safety meeting.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, generous Paid Time Off, holiday pay, a retirement savings plan with a company match, and vesting on day one.
