Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal Engineer to join our Hardware Product Solutions team in the Americas region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing thermal solutions for our products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to advance thermal development by understanding leading edge cooling technologies.
  • Support and influence the integration of thermal strategy across technical disciplines.
  • Expert in thermal design and development for server/storage and network products.
  • Provide high-quality thermal solutions to support RFQs.
  • Design robust thermal solutions to meet product specifications and cooperate with the Software team to implement fan speed control strategy.
  • Conduct thermal simulation analysis from board to system level to verify thermal feasibility/risk.
  • Document thermal test plans and perform thermal, air flow/impedance, and acoustic measurements.
  • Interface with a multi-disciplinary group to define system requirements and design products.
  • Work with function teams to identify root causes of system failures.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, with a preference for candidates with a Master's degree in Thermodynamic Engineering.
  • Experience in working in medium-sized multidisciplinary development teams.
