The Village Project, Inc. is a community-based organization grounded in social justice, serving vulnerable adults, children, and families from historically underserved communities in Monterey County. We are seeking a dedicated Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting mental health equity and well-being among youth and TAY populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and referrals to mental health services, support groups, and resources available within the community.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to carry out data collection for Local Evaluator.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Community Development, Social Work, Psychology) preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience in community outreach, engagement, and partnership development, particularly within diverse communities and youth populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

">

An estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. Some travel is required, but most work will be performed in an office setting.
