About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Water and Sewer Specialist to join our team at the City of Harrisonburg. As a member of our Public Utilities Department, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts and respond to inquiries
  • Process payments and resolve customer complaints
  • Utilize a computer database to create new applications for utility service and manage customer accounts
  • Collaborate with field service technicians to resolve customer issues

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability during standard business hours Mondays through Fridays
  • Bilingual abilities are preferred but not required
