We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Trades Training Specialist to join our team at Home Builders Institute Inc. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and hands-on training in electrical trades.

Job Description

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring others. You will have the opportunity to develop curriculum, coordinate hands-on training activities, and foster positive relationships with students and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct program participants in electrical trade skills using approved curriculum
  • Develop curriculum and supporting training materials as needed
  • Coordinate hands-on training activities, including on-site and community-based projects
  • Demonstrate proper use of tools and equipment, emphasizing safety
Student Development and Placement
  • Assist with student recruitment, placement, and employability training as directed
  • Monitor, mentor, and coach students to achieve their goals
  • Foster positive working relationships with funders, program partners, and other personnel
  • Participate in outreach and employer relationship development
Working Relationships

You will work closely with our executive team, board of trustees, and staff members to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Journey-level experience in electrical trades
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Ability to meet Career Technical Training requirements

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
