Position Overview

The Enterprise Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in the extensive implementation of an ERP system enhancement throughout the organization. This position entails collaborating with various Compass Sectors to gather and document business requirements essential for the development and execution of the ERP upgrade.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate directly with business team members, third-party technology providers, developers, and the user community to pinpoint business needs and facilitate the collection of business requirements.
2. Gain a comprehensive understanding of complex business operations and guide projects and decisions across diverse user groups.
3. Partner with Compass Sector teams to thoroughly evaluate and analyze business functions and processes, documenting and articulating current operational workflows.
4. Engage in backlog refinement and work alongside other analysts, developers, and the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is filled with detailed stories necessary for development.
5. Create and maintain Business Process Design documentation.
6. Analyze and design future business processes in collaboration with functional resources.
7. Ensure that solutions align with business needs and requirements.
8. Leverage knowledge of both business processes and technology to collaborate with Compass Technology and external consultants in implementing requirements within the application.
9. Establish meeting schedules, structure, and timelines.
10. Support product managers/owners in the decision-making process.
11. Monitor deliverables to ensure timely completion as part of the overall project.
12. Manage post-implementation feedback and requirements.
13. Write and execute test scripts, coordinating with other analysts for system integration testing.
14. Evaluate system deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance is preferred, ideally within customer-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or record-to-report value chains.
- Familiarity with SAP, particularly FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO, or PCA modules; experience with S/4 HANA is advantageous.
- At least 1 year of project experience utilizing Agile Methodology is desired.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A well-developed sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to cultivate strong working relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate with others to identify acceptable solutions.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while adapting to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with Compass Sectors (minimal travel expected).
