About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of imaging scans, including general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Produce high-quality images for interpretation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely entry of technical data.
  • Notify management of equipment malfunctions and take appropriate action.
  • Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams.
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures and monitor patient priority.
  • Demonstrate care and operation of Radiology equipment according to technical specifications.
  • Assist Radiologists with fluoroscopic, GI, and pediatric procedures.
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS.
  • Report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS Administrator.
  • Process billing via RIS.
  • Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students.
  • Participate in in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions to stay up-to-date on technical information and skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.
  • Current state licensure required prior to employment.
  • BLS certification required.
