Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Supplemental Health Care. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, assisting and positioning patients, and ensuring the safety of patients and staff.

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist will work in a hospital setting, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, and assisting and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Assist and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Develop and implement radiologic procedures, including patient positioning, exposure, and image acquisition.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an X-ray technician program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or another accrediting agency approved by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience.
