Payroll Operations Expert

Emler Swim School is seeking a seasoned Payroll Operations Expert to oversee payroll processes for over 60 locations, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.

About the Position
  • Oversee payroll operations for several hundred employees across multiple states, maintaining adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement efficient payroll processes, leveraging expertise in ADP WorkforceNow.
  2. Ensure accurate timecard review and processing for nonexempt employees, guaranteeing timely payment and compliance.
  3. Maintain strict adherence to federal and state wage and hour laws, safeguarding both employees and the organization.
  4. Collaborate with the HR team to update the HRIS system, ensuring up-to-date employee records and seamless data management.
  5. Analyze and process pay adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions as needed, applying payroll software expertise.
  6. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and ensure all payroll information, files, and records are meticulously maintained.
  7. Communicate effectively with employees and managers to address inquiries and issues, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience is required, including experience with ADP WorkforceNow or similar full-function payroll software.
  • Proven track record of creating detailed reports and proficiency using Excel, driving informed business decisions.
  • Understanding of voluntary deductions, ensuring accurate compensation administration and compliance.
  • Experience working within a medium to large size company with multi-state locations and high-volume processing, handling complex payroll scenarios.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience, recognizing the value of your skills and expertise.
