Typical Responsibilities of a Raw Material R&D Specialist:- Facilitate the comprehensive seasonal raw material development cycle
- Engage with fabric suppliers to create groundbreaking textiles
- Organize discussions to explore new fabric characteristics
- Oversee digital and physical raw material collections
- Implement technical validation procedures
- Contribute to new product development evaluations
- At least 4 years of experience in Fabric R&D or Production
- In-depth knowledge of apparel manufacturing and fabric testing standards
- Strong understanding of raw material composition and production techniques
- Proven ability to foster solutions and maintain constructive relationships
- Familiarity with industry testing methods and fabric production facilities
- Exceptional leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
