Psychiatrist - Assertive Community Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to high-risk patients with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric assessments, medication management, and individual, group, family, and substance use therapy services.
- Collaborate with a care team consisting of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and PAs to provide comprehensive in-home and in-community treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote recovery and community integration.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and team performance.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry.
- License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
- Experience and training in the use of long-acting psychotropic medication required.
- Experience with Assertive Community Treatment or Mobile Crisis Team preferred.
- Annual Base Salary: $236,900* (board eligible); $247,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
- Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): 3% company contribution of base earnings immediately vested, and an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings after one year of service.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
