Psychiatrist - On-Track Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct psychiatric care to patients in our On-Track program, utilizing a shared decision-making process to develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, including coordination with primary care and other medical specialists.
- Participate in outpatient behavioral codes, follow code protocol, and use de-escalation measures as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments, risk management, outreach, and clinical documentation in accordance with policy and protocols.
- Supervise medical students and residents, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development.
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry.
- License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
