Partner Success Manager, Embedded Payroll Specialist

Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Partner Success Manager to drive the success of our Gusto Embedded Payroll partners. As a key member of our Business Development team, you'll be responsible for driving go-to-market strategies, measuring joint success, and making recommendations for future programs. You'll work closely with our Head of Partner Management and collaborate with product and partner enablement teams to develop specific per-partner success metrics and operating plans.
Key Responsibilities- Strategize and Plan: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for our embedded payroll partners.
- Operate: Drive success for our partners and their end customers through adoption and utilization of Gusto's embedded products.
- Teach: Help our platform partners learn to sell and market Gusto-powered people platform solutions.
- Measure What Matters: Own our operating success with partners by optimizing onboarding, utilization, and satisfaction.
- Build: Create and expand a successful feedback loop between partners, their end users, and Gusto's internal teams.
- 5-10 years of experience
- 2+ years in an external-facing role; 2+ years in a strategy or operations role
- Direct external-facing experience working with clients or partners
- Hands-on experience owning and growing a partner-oriented business
- Strong partnerships interest and acumen: understands partner lifecycle and investments required to enable partner success
- Excited by the combination of working deeply with individual partners and building for scale
- Strong sense of ownership and resilience; exceptional communicator (both written and verbal)
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $105,000-$125,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $127,000-$150,000/yr for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Work EnvironmentGusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
