We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our Adult Foster Care team of caregivers at AFC Home St. Joseph Michigan. As a caregiver, you will assist clients with their basic needs, enabling them to maintain a level of independence and continue living in their home despite physical limitations or disability.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with bathing, toileting, and hygiene
  • Transfer clients from a wheelchair to a chair or bed using a Hoyer lift
  • Prepare meals and assist with medication reminders
  • Run errands, such as picking up prescriptions and assisting with doctor visits
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, bed making, and cleaning
Requirements
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Insurance on the vehicle used for work
  • Pass a background check, driving record check, and drug test
