Job Summary:

BrainWorks is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Cybersecurity to lead our organization's cybersecurity efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that protects our company's assets and ensures compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Cybersecurity Strategy: Create and execute a cybersecurity strategy that aligns with BrainWorks' business objectives and ensures the protection of our company's assets.
  • Lead Cybersecurity Team: Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the effective implementation of our cybersecurity strategy.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement Security Controls: Develop and implement security controls to protect our company's assets, including information/data, computer systems, and POS systems.
  • Manage Security Incidents: Respond to and manage security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Threats: Stay current with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our company's cybersecurity strategy remains effective.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive Knowledge of IT Security: Possess a deep understanding of IT security technologies, including server management, firewall and intrusion prevention systems, authentication, authorization, and encryption controls.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Education and Certifications: Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred. CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in IT governance or security-related roles, with increasing management responsibility.
