Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Porter to join our team at The Boxyard. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen areas, ensuring proper food storage and organization, and providing exceptional support to our culinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper food storage and rotation in our walk-in refrigerator.
  • Remove trash and recycling as needed, and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as a dishwasher or porter in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Command of the English language.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
