Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Construction Safety Technician to support our operations department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers and Field Superintendents with all safety-related tasks, including developing and implementing safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular field safety audits to identify potential hazards and develop corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering regulatory and company-required training programs.
  • Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Work closely with operations leadership and field personnel to identify potential hazards and controls, and collaborate with contractors and clients to address safety concerns.
  • Assist in preparing and conducting weekly safety toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Requirements
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
  • Experience using and applying Safety Management Systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations.
  • Experience developing regulatory compliance programs and training.
  • Experience with injury case management and return-to-work procedures.
  • Establishing sustainable systems for compliance and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish highly desired.
  • CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) / STSC (Safety Trained Safety Certified).
  • OSHA 510 / OSHA 30 / CPR Training Certification.

Estimated Salary Range

$70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
