Job Summary:
The Garage Mechanic is a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our company vehicle fleet and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
- Respond to guest service calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional service according to Cedar Point standards.
- Operate tow trucks and service vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform related automotive and light truck service work as directed.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ASE certification in auto repair (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions and confined spaces.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
