Pharmacy Manager Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct a team of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, and loss prevention.
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS Health from competitors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive business growth and improve performance in the pharmacy.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
Requirements:
  • Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Pharmacist in charge listed on the pharmacy state license.
  • Submission of required information/documents to the state PMP administrator for PMP access.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
