North Central Imaging department is a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and effective time management skills. The team is dedicated to providing high-quality imaging services.

About the Job

The Operating Room X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for setting up sterile trays and assisting radiologists during procedures such as myelograms, arthrograms, aspiration exams, and steroid injections. They will also perform emergent X-rays from the ED and In-Patient areas, as well as routine X-rays ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Setup sterile trays for procedures
  • Assist radiologists during procedures
  • Perform emergent X-rays from the ED and In-Patient areas
  • Perform routine X-rays ordered by physicians
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong patient satisfaction skills
  • Independent decision-making skills
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple patients
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and their families
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • AART Registered in Radiology
  • Experience with C-arm, O-arm, and Portable Digital Equipment desired
  • BLS current
  • Texas state license to Texas Medical Board
  • 3 years of hospital experience preferred
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
