Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision to lower-level staff, ensuring the effective delivery of social safety net programs.
  • Review and respond to requests for information and clarification of laws, policies, and procedures surrounding social safety net programs.
  • Coordinate with other staff or units as needed to clarify policies and procedures, determine the status of individual applications, and resolve problems.
  • Enter and retrieve information into the system, receive and review documents, and perform routine corrections.
  • Participate in staff conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to determine successful pathways for client success in reaching their individual goals and achieving self-sufficiency.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and one year in professional social work.
  • OR a bachelor's degree and two years of experience in professional social work.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
